Before starting any project, large or small, we’ll first determine the materials that are best suited to the job.
We cater to the contractor! No job is ever considered too small for Coastal Doors. Our goal is to make this process as easy as possible.
First, we will go over your project with you and determine the materials you need. We’ll ask you a few questions so we can get information about the wall thickness, wall construction, handing of the door (door swing), and what hardware will be used, so we can prep the frame and door correctly for it. (You may even have a set of plans you can send us, but this is not necessary).
Please note, if you order a door for an existing frame, we generally would need you to provide the hinge locations on the frame. All major manufacturers put their hinge and strike locations at different places, and this allows us to give you the right door for your existing frame.
As for hardware, you can give us the hardware listed on the plans or specifications, and we will list it out or ask a few questions about the room and make suggestions as to what would be needed. Then, we’ll get you quoted on the appropriate materials.
No specs? No problem. We stock a huge selection and will get your order done with the industry standard for your project.
We have different levels of hardware, Grade I or Grade II, from a large variety of manufacturers, and we’ll make sure you get the quality you want at the price you need.
Don’t forget: we also provide interior aluminum frames, wood doors, and plastic laminate doors in addition to hollow metal frames, windows, sidelights, transoms, and more.
We offer our quote price and we can get it going right away, or provide you with a quote so that you can approach the owner of your project to get approvals. All quotes are documented in our records, which ensures we are all on the same page when you call or email us back with approvals.

We invite construction companies to send the bids to us directly or make sure we are one of the suppliers that they send automatic bids to when they are posted on those services. Links to plans are provided on those sites. Please add us to your email automatic notifications and try us out!
